Directions to Casa de Aero

From the South

Find your way to Highway 47 northbound, from somewhere south of where 47 crosses 72.

Highway 47 crosses both 72 and 20 at a little wide spot in the road called Starks Corner. All three highways run together under the railroad on a short section of 4-lane road.

Just past the railroad turn left on Highway 20. You're now on Highway 20 westbound, to Rockford.

In about 6 miles you will come to an intersection with Big Timber. It's a small little road, and easy to miss. The best clue is that highway 20, which generally curves and wanders, actually becomes straight for about two miles. The Big Timber intersection is at the end of that two mile straight stretch.

Turn left on Big Timber. Enjoy the curves and the view out across the plains. In about 4-6 miles Big Timber will dead end at a T interesection. This is Hampshire Road. Turn right.

Having turned right, you're now northbound. Head down the hill and notice the bridge over the I-90 tollway ahead. Before you get to that bridge, turn left on Stoxen. If you cross over the I-90 bridge you have gone too far, turn around and go back to Stoxen.

Now west-bound on Stoxen, follow the curve to the right. Turn left on Immelman in a city block or two. (watch for the small green street sign).

You will see our airport coming up on the left.

If the address you are visiting is on Immelman it will be coming up on the left. If you are heading to a Chandelle address, take either the first or last left turn to cross over to the other side of the airport, where you will find Chandelle.

All of the houses have a 'fire sign', a small red sign out by the mailbox with the house number on it. That's your best clue in finding the home you are visiting.
