Casa de Aero is a residential airport northwest of Chicago.
Located along the I-90 Tollway west of Chicago, Casa de Aero is an aviation community of 45 homes around a private airfield. It lies about half way between O'Hare airport and Rockford, west of Elgin and east of Belvedere.
Our three runways (one asphalt and two grass) are 3000 feet in length. The asphalt runway is "all weather" with runway lights, a VASI lighting system and an instrument approach. It is a pleasant community with no fences and well-kept homes.
We enjoy the many benefits of a small community in a relatively rural setting, yet we are close enough to Chicago and it's suburbs to enjoy their cultural, employment and transportation benefits.
The menu along the left side provides several subjects of interest to visitors to this site, or to Casa de Aero itself. Feel free to browse and learn more about our flyin community.
This public section of the site has maps and directions to the airstrip and information of a general nature that might be interesting to folks who want to know about residential airparks in general or Casa de Aero in particular.
The resident's section of this site includes a full range of data of interest to residents. A password is required for access so as to maintain the privacy of the membership.
If you are a resident click on the 'resident' link in the upper right corner of this page.
