Directions to Casa de Aero

From Elgin

If you don't wish to get on the I-90 tollway, you have the option of driving out on Big Timber. You can pick up Big Timber wherever you wish. It starts at highway 31 and goes almost all the way to the airport.

As you head west you will cross Randall, Highway 72, Highway 47 and Highway 20. Take care, some of these are challenging corners and most of them give right of way to the other highway (although through the years now most of them have traffic lights.) Take your time and arrive safe.

When you cross highway 20 you're getting close. Enjoy the curves and the view out across the plains, and be mindful of the school speed limit. In about 4-6 more miles Big Timber will dead end at a T interesection. This is Hampshire Road. Turn right.

Having turned right, you're now northbound. Head down the hill and notice the bridge over the I-90 tollway ahead. Before you get to that bridge, turn left on Stoxen. If you cross over the I-90 bridge you have gone too far, turn around and go back to Stoxen.

Now west-bound on Stoxen, follow the curve to the right. Turn left on Immelman in a city block or two. (watch for the small green street sign).

You will see our airport coming up on the left.

If the address you are visiting is on Immelman it will be coming up on the left. If you are heading to a Chandelle address, take either the first or last left turn to cross over to the other side of the airport, where you will find Chandelle.

All of the houses have a 'fire sign', a small red sign out by the mailbox with the house number on it. That's your best clue in finding the home you are visiting.
